How to check your Vista system specifications for FiatLux Visualize™
To verify that your computer meets the minimum requirements, perform the following steps.
- Left click on the Start Menu.
- On the right side of the start menu display, right click on Computer.
- Select Properties from the context menu that is displayed.
- Under the System heading, information about the processor and memory are displayed.
- To verify that you have sufficient space to install Visualize, left click on the Start Menu.
- Left click on Computer. A window will appear listing all hard drives on your machine and indicating the free space.
- To verify that your video hardware meets the minimum requirements, right click on the desktop and left click Personalize.
- A window will appear, select Display Settings at the bottom.
- Under the Resolution section, verify that your display resolution is at least 1024 by 600 and your Color depth under Colors is at least 24 bit, the minimum requirements for Visualize to run properly.
- Left click on Advanced Settings.
- Under Adapter Information, verify that the Dedicated Video Memory is at least 128 MB, the minimum required to properly use FiatLux Visualize.
Note: The processor should be at least a Pentium 4 1.0 GHz or equivalent. Memory (RAM) should be at least 1 GB for Visualize to run properly.
Note: FiatLux Visualize requires up to 300 MB free for installation, and may require additional storage for images. The Visualize Setup allows selecting a drive of your choice.
